replacement shocks
I recently purchased an '84 300zx turbo, . It seems to be mechanically sound except for the front shocks, they are done. What are the best replacement shocks? I am interested in starting autocross, but will use the car mainly as a daily driver. Thanks for any help.

Ok i am relativly new also seeing how i just got my car, but ive been watching this board and reading up on z's for quite a while. What i would do first is go to
www.victoriabritish.com
and order there catalog...it has almost everything. I would buy from there as a last resort because i think most of there prices are pretty high. I would also
http://jboykin@users2.ev1.net/~jboykin/index.htm
add ZenArcher's page to you favorites. Under Z31 Links in his page he gives you a large list of all the parts you can replace and who you can get them from. As for the shocks i think most people use eibach which gives you a .8" drop. But like i said go to ZenArchers page under Z31 Links and chek out what he recomends.

shocks dont give you a drop, the springs do. eibachs ive heard kinda suck because theyre wishy washy. i use suspension technique springs. its a full one inch lower and much stiffer. thats whats on them in the sig pic. and yes, vb is high in price, but they have the best customer service around. nopi.com has s/t springs for about 70 or 80 dollars cheaper. i use KYB shocks on my n/a, but ive heard the illuminas are outstanding. it just depends on how much money you want to spend.
