I was recently having some car trouble every time i strated it it decided to die on my after a few second.. I took it to my mechanic cuz i was thinking it was the fuel pump and i didn't want to have to deal with that so he took a look at it and noticed the spark plugs were worn so he decided to change that and installed a new distributor thenjust gave me the car back.. SO it is running a bit better but now to get it started when it is cold i basically have to floor it for it to finally start.. it turns over fine but it is like it isn't getting enough fuel or something... Mostly bad on cold starts..shutting it off and then turning it back isn't a problem and the battery is descently new. Any suggestions cuz i don't want to have to take it to the dealership they will charge me an arm and a leg. thanks a lot in advance..

 

Sounds like the cylinder head temp sensor. The ECU checks it to determine how much fuel to give the engine when you start it. It's a pain in the *** to get to, but z31.com has a guide to make it a little easier.
