basically ya when im driving and shifting from gear to gear it just stays there and usually even goes higher in rpm when clutch is pushed in. it doesnt do it when cold only after it warmed up. i was thinking maybe idle control valve doing it but i dont want to go spend 150 on icv if its not the problem.

Neither... go to Google, find steps, and then perform steps.
