Stumbling below 2000 rpm
I just purchased this car (86 300zxT - 5 speed) and it has had a problem, the owner (one owner car) has known about for around 2 months now, he thinks it has something to do w/ the recal work being done (injectors). The car will start and die after 1 sec of idle. It will keep running w/ your foot slightly on the gas if you let off it dies (idles rough). You have to do this for around 1-2 min then it idles fine. It will run fine until the temperature reaches the half way mark on the dash. It will sputter and stumble at anything under 2k rpm's unless you nail the gas (then it just jumps and takes off like it should). The car just hit 120k miles. It had a complete rebuilt engine and new turbo @ ~110k miles. I cant seem to find any obvious leaks in the intake system. I was told to possibly adjust my TPS? I dont think that would help the stumbling though. Any oppinions?

Re: Stumbling below 2000 rpm
Does it idle rough after its warmed up? The idling rough when cold is normally means your air pressure regulator is bad. Replacing it will actually let it idle at about 1400RPMs when cold, and slow down back to 700 when warmed up (Assuming the idle speed is set correctly.)
