Stupid Lights!

Re: Stupid Lights!
they should come on when you turn on the lights. but if you don't want to level them while being blinded, there is a button for them to the left of the instrument cluster - it's the top one - just above the hazard lights one. that should raise them without turning them on.

Re: Stupid Lights!
I dunno, takes awhile to get all the bells and whistles scoped out. Not long after I got my car my nieces were checking it out. Next time I drove it the lights wouldn't come up. I'd been through that with another car so figured it was a mechanical problem. I mentioned it to Spot and she asked me if I'd tried the button to raise them. I didn't know there was such a button, the kids prolly pushed it. There wasn't one in the other car, a Prelude I think it was.

Re: Stupid Lights!
Every car with pop up headlights I have ever seen has had a "manual override" button. Including my sister's 89 Honda Accord.
But he's asking about putting the lights up, not down. In which case, maybe someone has done the "headlight mod" that is talked about in the z31.com archives? (hint to look at z31.com)

Umm, yeah bum thanks for sharing your infinite car knowledge but I was trying to make him feel a little less uncomfortable about asking what some might perceive as a stupid question...
