i have an issue. I just got a 87 na. I turned the engine over by hand and some thing is hitting. They already had the front me the engine apart. I think they might of turned a cam. I have tryed to reset the timing. 40 teeth from right cam to left. 43 from left cam to crank. Still hitting. I really dont want to pull the heads. Any tips?

it is hard to tell. Right head seems like it. Dizzy shows it is. The prev owner damaged the crank pully. I fear its on its on its exhaust stoke.
