Warning lights
I've got a 90 300ZX non-turbo. When I hit the breaks a red warning light that says "lights" comes on. The break lights seem to work fine. The warning light is located on the right side of the steering wheel beneath the oil pressure gauge. Is this normal?

Re: Warning lights
not sure about z32's (did you try the z32 forum?) but on z31's, one of mine did the same thing and i cleaned the contact for the parking brake and it solved the problem. Either that or the problem mysteriously went away at the same time i cleaned the contacts...

Re: Warning lights
First thing to check is the brake lights are all lighting. Have a friend push the brake pedal and check to make sure all the bulbs are lighting.
...and from the ashes shall rise a new hope. And it shall be known as "Z". And it will be good.
