What is this? Custom power *thing* installed by previous owner??
This might be fun for those who like guessing at old technologies, and I've been wanting to know what it is since I got the car...
In the center console, next to the mirrors and mirror defogging, there's a custom "thing" installed by the previous owner. It's the one in the center, a custom alarm LED is the one on the left and the defogger is on the right (standard). See the picture attached. Sorry for the quality of the picture, it really doesn't help with a clearer picture actually. There are "A"s labeled on the sockets.
The only thing I can guess, is it was a power adapter for an old school cell phone plugin. I finally got a chance to run where the wires go to, and they go to the fuse box, with an adapter for 2 fuses coming out of one empty fuse slot.....which is a slot that is hooked up to the car's battery. So, some kind of power it would seem. Which is why a cell phone power cord seems probable. No idea other than that.
Anyone know what it is?

Multimeter reading
Volts measured as 11.6 volts. Same reading all along the wires running back to the fuses, so likely the same wire and likely nothing under the thing converting to anything else (like speakers).
I originally thought they looked a lot like some kind of speaker plugin, but they almost look more like a relay plugin than speakers. Now with a volt reading, it's much more likely to be some kind of power outlet.

I have a coffee maker that will run on that voltage and puts out the best Latte Bolognese you ever tasted. It even heats the cream before adding. You choose the sweetness level. Can let you have it for $20 plus shipping. You have to mount it on the dash next to your iPods. Not a problem. If it boils over, it burns the passenger's legs, not yours. They thought of everything. Let me know.
