Here's the situation. I'm on a road trip in my 1986 300zx NA and my oil pump goes out. I of course can't really just pull over, walk to the parts store, walk back and put in the new pump. Whats the LEAST I should expect to get by having a garage do it in a road trip scenairo?

 

first: if your oil pump went out, there is something seriously wrong with your car. The oil pump is about the simplest moving part on your car.

As for the other stuff going out, who knows. It depends on what fails.
