lets say minimal rust is it worth it?

even if there was bit of it think it would be worth the time to pat it out?

sure, if he is not lying.

might need a new engine.

And what do people mean by "needs a new ignition" ?
Ignition switch, coil, distributor, ignition module?

Or do idiots say that when an engine won't start so they sell it and say it needs a new ignition

just like the z32 though, it's really not worth owning if you have an intention to upgrade it. you can up grade the suspension and brakes, but you won't make that car much faster without a turbo swap. so it's worth getting if you just want to drive it as it is.

he never said whether it was turbo or not. Also a VG30ET swap into a N/A Z31 is alot easier than a VG30DETT swap into a N/A Z32

he said z31, not z31T. still, he may have just failed to mention it.

agreed, the swap is easier than in a z32. easier than finding a cheap turbo? if you're lucky.

So because you didn't say Z32TT, we can assume that you have an NA also?

BTW: You sound like an idiot. At $300, that's a great deal if that's all that's truly wrong with it. If he's planning on upgrading stuff, that's damn cheap to have a solid platform to start from.
