84' 300zx T Electrical Problems
Hi, everyone I just recently purchased a 84 300zx turbo 5-speed with 80,000 original miles.
So here's the problem, the car was in the process of being restored factory and im guessing the were re-wiring it. The headlights do not work with out me holding back the dimmer switch, even when I turn my running lights on I have no brake lights or headlights, and only one will come up and the button is pressed but it will not go down, there are various other little wiring issues.
like a weird clicking sound when it sits, the passenger side light motor gets HOT and my blinkers do not work when I turn on running lights. I have checked the fuses and I cannot get any FSM to load so I thought I would bring my problems here!!
any info on the matter would be greatly appreciated!! thx!

I would start by checking and probably replacing the headlight switch.
The "dimmer switch" is the switch that controls the intensity of the lights on the dash. You're referring to the high beam switch.
