afpr help what do i do with temp sensor

When I put a adjustable fuel pressure regulator on my 85 zxt, what do I do with the fuel temperature sensor?

Well, from searching I learned if its pluged in and your car runs like crap you have a problem and when u unplug it it doesn't do anything unless u stick it in a hot cup of boiling water while your cars running! Or you can put it on ice and gain a couple hps just kidding! Its ok to unplug it as long as your car runs great with it pluged in first! And Keep that and your stock fpr if you ever have a problem and need to check your fuel temp.

After installing afpr, car is a little harder to start when cold! Could it be because I unplugged that temp sensor? Or could it be because I now have longer fuel lines?

I like that you take the initiative to find the answers yourself.

Did you by chance buy this fpr on ebay?
Does it have a fuel gauge?
Does it hold fuel pressure when then car has been off for a few minutes / hours?

BTW, the FSM explains how the fuel temp sensor works. I don't have the FSM right in front of me, but IIRC it only changes the a/f ratio when the fuel is above a certain temp (like 110*F).
