might have to beet out you fender wells to make it fit, i would settle for a vg30de, no reall need for TT's in a z31, plus all the costs of putting a TT motor in a z31 would add up really fast, i would like to a see a vg30de in a z31 though, should be plenty of power..

i hear the de's won't really fit with out major mods. but who know's. if i was you i'd go to the vg30et cause there made for the car's and are easy to make power compared to the n/a's.

Quick lesson on Nissan Engine codes....

VG = V-6

DE = dual overhead cam, e for electronic fuel injection

T = TURBO

for mods.... feel free to use the SEARCH, since that question has been asked A LOT

N/A = Naturally Aspirated ... as in: the engine sucks in the air, it's not forced in like "forced induction."

ok... mods, you really can use the search tho... it's actually fun finding info on your own

-install boost controller

-install an intercooler

-bigger injectors

-something to control the bigger injectors

-less restrictive exhaust

-port n polish intake

yada yada yada.......................................

an intercooler cools the air, going back through the engine. unstead of just resicurlating the hot engine air...search for the rest though.

Really... FEEL FREE TO USE THE SEARCH. GOOGLE IS ALSO A GOOD PLACE TO FIND INFO. TYPE WWW.GOOGLE.COM AND THEN TYPE IN "WHAT IS AN INTERCOOLER"

There are no fitment issues with the DOHC motors. But they don't just bolt right in. And they're a nightmare to deal with in the first place.
