Fuel Injectors not working
I have an 86 nissan 300zx non turbo. I had an injector leak and replaced all injectors and the wiring harness from the ecu to the engine compartment. The new wiring harness, # 24011 19p10 B A14-100m20 85 0910K 01, replaced wiring harness # 24011 19p10 B A14-100m20 85 0901k 01. there is a slight difference in the last section of numbers. Anyway, when i put a small amount of fuel directly into the cylinder, the car tries to start so I know its firing. After a close examination of the fuel injector wires, I now wonder if i have the right harness. The reason I say this is that it looks like all the wires on the fuel injectors are the same color. Can that be right? When I take the fuel hose off the regulator, fuel comes out so I know Im getting fuel to the rails. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Stick a phillips screw driver in the number 1 plug wire (after you disconect it from the plug) have a buddy turn it over while you hold it near the timing cover or any metal and make sure the spark jumps. If you have fuel with key on thats good, better to check it with a gauge though. The way I check injectors is with a noid light, check with a parts store if you dont have acess to set, they have a little bulb in them and you plug it into youre injector connector, and it flashes in accordance to signal pulse. With out noid lights mark the distributor to TDC, pull it out then with the key on spin the worm gear on the bottom of the DIS, you can hear the injectors fire, it will sound like a rapid ticking from the intake. Wire color I cant remeber maybe check a manual it should be color coded, good luck. Anybody else?
