Super 40's... that would be a single chamber flowmaster... and "Xpipes" ? You have headers on your Z? Or did you think you could run an X-pipe dual exhaust set up with your stock manifold('s)? A Y-pipe...understandible, but without a set of headers, an X pipe is pretty dumb idea, considering the way you'd have to split the exhaust flow... you'd gain more backpressure without the torque increase and waste your money away. OH well... once again, just my TWO Cents.

in that sound clip you can hear my air filter breathing, i can't wait to get a cold air intake on there and fix that belt. it annoys the crap outta me.

Rod.
Rod.
Anyone have a guess at how much HP my exhaust added? iv been spinning my tires without trying because of the difference with the exhaust on there, and i acceleate SO much faster than before.
I still have to race that Mustang and now my step dad wants me to race him but im sure he would whip my *** with my car the way it is.
He has a Supercharged 89 ThunderBird with Flowmasters on it pushing around 300HP and hes raced a porche and won....sooo, idk, only thing i have is my car probably weighs half as much since thudnerbirds are pretty big heavy cars

hmm... sounds like my car with more rasp. You're still using the stock Cat? It's nice, but you can do better. I've got a 3" pipe running from the cat back... cat's hollowed out, it does alot for the sound level, but I'm afraid I've sacrificed my gas mileage by doing so. Go with a high-performance cat... if you don't have the cash to go to Certified Muffler... then use a MeganRacing pipe for the 240... should bolt up just right. She doesn't sound bad... but still a little too raspy for my taste.. that's just me though.

I got a K&N filtercharger kit for my 85 300zx for 125 bucks even from www.autopartsauthority.com. Bad thing is I pretty much just paid that for a big #ss high flow filter like the one in Az-zbum's link. By the way your exhaust sounds f-in mean! I don't think mine sounds like that but I'll try to get a sound clip. I have pacesetter headers, stock catalyc converter (excuse me if that's spelled wrong.) and an APC racing muffler. It sounds pretty good but a little to close to ricers I think.

hahah yeah those birds are pretty gansta, they like to drop mad rhymes just for me.
thanks for all the comments guys, i appreciate it.
I love the idle as well with this new exhaust, hopefully with a few more mods it will be even deeper, its pretty close to sounding like a v8 IMO
