Heat is always coming out.... help

Ok... so my a/c can still be turned on and all... even if its charged... hot air (not luke warm... HOT) ALWAYS comes out of my vents. I closed off this valve near the firewall of the car towards the top of the engine bay and that helped... but eventually my zip ties fall off and I'm back to hot air... any ideas why this might be happening?

If you have plenty of freon, then check your vacuum lines for splits or deterioration. It appears that you have a vacuum leak somewhere.

my mechanic told me there are "gates" that do not always change--hot gets hotter with accel--all 3 of my z31s had that problem--now only 2 still do. there is a way to turn manually the heater off or to a lower setting so it won't hahahah come on again--only stays for a short time. take off the ttops. open the windows. if slicktop--fix it.
