Installing a Blow off valve.

Introductions first, my names Ray I just purchased my Z31 roughly a month ago the only things I've done to the car so far is a new exaust system, and well a sound system everything else on the car is pretty much stock, the engine was a rebuild job and only have 28000 on it so far.

The first things I was told to do was intercooler, intake, and get a blow off on my turbo..... only issue is im new to the whole thing and feel this would be a great car for me to start learning.

So the question how do I install a blow off valve on my 84' Z ?
And where would be a good place to buy one?

I've only had it a couple weeks but im very quickly fallin in love with my car.

Welcome to ZDriver! We actually have quite a few Washington members.

Check these two info sites for tons of Z31 info:

www.redz31.net

www.az-zbum.com

And buy a Haynes manual / FSM if you haven't yet ( you can download the FSM at www.xenonz31.com )

Easy & cheap = disaster waiting to happen.

If you want easy cheap power, install a manual boost controller & up the boost.

Your Z doesn't have a BOV... those links were to help you get the idea of how to install one.

Step 1: Buy a BOV (www.ebay.com www.greddy.com www.hksusa.com www.turboxs.com)
Step 2: Either weld in a port on your stock charge pipe, or onto your intercooler pipe.
Step 3: Install BOV

Really... it's that easy. Check out www.google.com and type in BOV or HOW TO INSTALL BOV or WHAT IS A BOV? or similar...
