i currently own a 1997 civic but want to buy a z31 300zx. My friends drive a 84 celica supra, a 91 rx-7 non-turbo, 1991 240sx hatchback, an 86 accord LXi, and a 1993 honda prelude VTEC, all these vehicles are stock. I want to know if any 300zx will compete with these guys or do i have to get the turbo also how much will i be spending on a z31 if its in real good condition? I want this car to compete with these guys and hopefully be a little faster(the prelude actually isnt his yet and might not be so u dont have to include that one). I should have about 5000 bucks after selling my car so any help and advice you guys can give would be excellent.

 

a non-turbo will compete favorably against all of those.
a turbo would blow their doors off.

 

yeah, stock turbo will kick the *** off all of those. do a few mods and youll downright embarass them.
