Wiper Trouble (Passenger Side)

My Wiper is working/turning on the driver side. The Passenger side will not turn. If I take off the arm the bolt will turn. However, with the wiper arm attached it would not move on the passenger side. Can anyone off any type of assistance?

Thanks

new wiper motor maybe. old one could be too worn out to move the whole assembly, but still able to move the bolt.

Good Morning!
I checked the bolt and the inside of the wiper arm. It's not stripped. I am just thinking it's worn out possibly.

Not the bolt, the actual post or the actual arm. They have splines that keep the wiper in place on the post.

And there is no way the problem could be the motor. If one of the wipers turn, they should both be turning. They are directly linked together to the same motor.

Most likely, the post or the arm have lost their splines.

I am leaning towards taking it to the shop, as I do not have the time to tinker with it myself and we are expecting rain here in Fairfax,VA tomorrow Morning.

When was the last time you drove from the passenger seat?

AZ-ZBum,
Thanks for the reply. I took it to the shop and the piece had to be welded. Problem solved.
