harness install

I just put aftermarket seats in my zTT and now I need to install some harnesses. I saw a guy a while back posted asking how to do this and didnt get much help. Basically I need to know how to install the whole thing and I dont want to use a roll cage. I hear that you can use your existing seat belt hole on the door side but what about the center console side? Also do the harness bolts usually match the size of the factory hole? This is bassically my first time doing it and I dont know any of the anchor points.

When I put in my harnesses, I attached the console side to the side of the seat where the stock buckle bolted up (which probably won't work for you). The door side I wrapped around to the back side of the seat where it mounts to the floor but with your aftermarket seats, this may work for both sides, just even the straps out until they fit evenly. As for the rear strap (the one that goes behind you and hooks to the rollcage) I had removed my back seat and installed it where the factory buckles were in the back, but for your TT I don't really have any recommendation for the rear strap, maybe under your interior there is a good mount point, but without owning a TT im outta ideas on that one, sorry.

I think you mean a coupe as opposed to your 2+2, RPS13 GZ32.
but yeah, i'm in the same boat as him. No coupe for me either.
Best bet would prolly be to remove some of the carpeting and interior panels to check to see if mounting to the body is possible.

I posted this at 300zxclub also and I am not getting anywhere there either. I just find it hard to believe that barely anyone has done this before. I tried to find people who had done it so I could email them and I cant find anyone.

I think I got an idea of how I am going to do it. If you can get any pictures from your friend that would be awsome.
