Are you talking about those conversions that they sell on eBay for like $5? If so, my belief on that is you'll get what pay for. It's probably crap and you can't polish a turd.

Those are merely instructions on how to do the conversion. the actual kit is about $3K I believe. Basically, unless you really love them, it's not worth it. From what I've heard, the shocks wear out really quick due to the weight of the doors and are expensive to replace. But if it's worth it to you, go for it. I guess it might get you good votes at shows, but I have a feeling a lot of your Z friends are gonna shake their heads at you.

welll you can buy a nice kit from decah and it will run you about a grand....and they claim that there is no drilling or modifications. they don't make a kit for a z but you can buy one of their other kits, and minor mods are required. also i saw a kit on ebay by wixxim or something like that, and theirs was for $800, and they had a picture of a z with it. it looked pretty nice, but thats just another thing to go wrong...and z doors are pretty heavy...so i am gonna be keeping my doors on the ground.

but lambo doors do make a z look like its gonna take off even more than it already does but if i had any choice of a door I would kill for doors that are somewhat like the daloreans (sp?) That would be cool lol..

That thing is awesome! Faster than the McLaren? I didn't think it was possible. I saw a McLaren once. It was in the parking lot of a movie theater in Redwood City. It was dark. I was driving around trying to find a place to park my car so I wouldn't get any door dings. I pull around and find a spot next to an S4. As we get out, my friend tells me, "Hey, you sould've parked over there." There sits a silver McLaren. Absolutely unbelievable. We get out of the movie to find the car's still there; except there was swarm of people around it. I pretended to grab my keys, like it was my car. It was funny. The real owner came out with a hot blond on each arm. I'll never forget that car.

And, was that the same guy that does the Campbell's soup commercials? If so, what did he do to screw up that job? Wrecker, I think you're on to something, but I'm going to steal it anyway. What are your favorite songs to drive to? I'll start it in off-topic.

It's gonna fly away! JK. But The koenigsegg is pretty awesome. The show that that clip was taken from is called TopGear. It's a show popular in the UK and surrounding. AS far as music....hmmm, I'd have to say smoething hard. When I put in a good pure bred rock band, it gets fun. Metallica is a fun thing to drive to. some rap songs, like "move b*$#@, get outt the way" is pretty fun too.

The McLaren has 3 seats. The driver seat is centered in the cabin with passenger seats side by side behind the driver.
