Lighting - PIAA Xtreme White Plus

I saw these just searching. They're pretty price. I wonder if they're a waste of money or whether they're worth it (the first two on the list)!!!http://www.eautoworks.com/index20!mainPage!13!keySearch!9006%20light%20bulb. cfm

Those conversion kits work that well and last also? I've always been skeptical since just one of the Xenon bulb on my truck costs more than a lot of these kits!!! Are OEM xenon owners just getting ripped off then???? I truly am perplexed!!

Great link. Just searched and Smart4Cars has several kits on e-bay. Which one is which for the Z32? I want to stay in the 4300K range.

look in th link i posted it has the answer. i believe 9006. dont take my word for it though look in the link its clearly displayed in one of the pics. as for PIAA and sylverstars they are still halogen ove halogen. better off just getting the cheaper but fully fine sylverstars in store than ordering bulbs when they arent anything special.

My reason today was that Darkman sent me a PM.

But I stop by every so often even without getting a PM, but it's pretty quiet here so...

Thanks for the props on the calendar

Barry, thanks for posting. I'm pretty new here coming from the Z31 and German car world. I always loved the Z32 and was very lucky to get a relatively good 96TT with a ton of help from a lot of folks from this forum. I have a truck with Bi-Xenons on and really like them. I think that the Z32 looks soo much better at night with Xenons on. This is just one of the few upgrades I plan for this car. I'll assume you've rplied to my PM. Thanks.

Oh, about the slow forum comment earlier, trust me, it's not that bad a problem to have. The very busy forums usually are forums where a ton of problems are usually posted. So, except for the inactivity with respec to sponsors, it's a good thing to have a slow forum.

snw, the e-bay link shows a list of packages and I really can't figure out what's what for what car/year. There are several references to 9006 but I don't see anything referencing heat range or anything specific to what would fit the Z32. Here's the e-bay link: http://stores.ebay.com/Smart4Cars . Chime in Barry. These prices are so low that I want to do it.

its the 9006 size and the 4300k heat.

get this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Xenon...mZ200190360819

and when you buy it now, when you send payment or any info just along with it tell him its for a 96 300ZX so you need the 9006 lights with the 4300K color temp. he takes care of the rest.

and holy **** his prices dropped.... i feel robbed now....

BTW, that link doesn't work and I bet you did this on purpose so I wouldn't get the low price, LOL!!!

Yes, his prices dropped a lot - but I believe it does say the price drop is just for the next three days though. Darn snw, I'm beginning to feel that I'm robbing you all the time snw!!! Anyway, thanks.

Oh yeah, my set arrived yesterday - 9006, 4300K. I was away last week and when I got back home last night, the box was sitting at my door step. At first, I was puzzled because the sender's address said The People's Republic of China, no kidding!!! You've gotta love the e-commerce world!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, like it's been commented before (follow this link:https://www.zdriver.com/forums/showt...light=HID+Ebay)
the packaging seems very professionally done. The instructions are easy to follow if you ignore the bad grammer!!! Everything was in the box except the 2-sided tape. My guess is, that item has been dropped. I plan to do the upgrade as soon as these frigid temperatures rise a bit. I haven't searched yet, but any suggestions as to where to stick the ballast? Barry'Z(NJ) put his in the air cleaner chamber - he can do that easily since the POP charger takes less space than the OEM air cleaners. Anyway, as soon as I get the update done I'll post pics.

Entropy31, did you catch the sale? The prices have gone back up to $98, I believe, + shipping.

i found a little aread that mine actually simply sat in, but i did double side tape them in there so they wouldnt rattle. it was by the headlights somewhere.... hmmmm.......

and 98 is still a good price, when we bought them we paid 190 shipped i believe

My friend sells hid converions 4300k to 12000k for $150. The kit has a slim ballast, and halogen high beam built into the bulb. I think he only has them in h4 though.
