why.... the Z32 is pretty wide already, has decently large fenders, and doesnt even need any sort of a body kit other than maybe a front imo.

yup ^^^

and i have a feeling unless you go to japanese companies you wont have much luck finding production wide body kits for the Z32 other than what you found, that or go custom, i say this only becuase like a said before, its a pretty wide car as it is.

Strosek wide body kit + escort fascia = sexy IMHO

I have talked to a few people that have done a wide body conversion and well, its expensive as sh*t. The price of the kit plus all the moulding needed and you will want a very reputable shop to perform te work. IMO its too costly for no reason. You can run 10" wide wheels in the rear without rubbing (if you roll the fenders) and really, unless you have 600+ hp that is enough tire for traction. Just my .02

I've got 345/19" with13" wide Rims on my lowered Black Primadonna Z32 Convertible. I don't think you can get any wider than that. Check out my webshot page

or you can see it in person at the West Coast Nationals - Sunday, 4/29 in Orange, CA

Welcome to Zdriver. Your car precedes you. iirc, I saw your car in San Simeon last year and at previous nationals. It's beautiful.

I was told you could run 18 x 10 volks in the rear without any fitment issuses such as rolling the fenders.

It's a stock NA with 51,000 original miles on it. Hate to touch such a young strong engine. With the suspension mods, wide tires, AP Racing Big Brakes,
(6 piston front -4 piston back), what I lose in power I make up in cornering. I don't even know what the cornering limits are. I only know that it's similiar to what Figher Pilots experience under hard g's and I've actually felt light headed when really pushing it.

I talked to him at the MSA show and he seems to have molding plans for his car

As far as running 10 inch wide wheels in the rear, it can be done with the correct offset , but on a lowered car it will rub (assuming you are running 285s or 295s on the rear) but rolling the fenders will help that issue.

That black Strosek Z32 looks like the *** end of a Citroen with that spoiler on it. Spoilerless would look nice, but not so much there...

Primadonnaz32, other than the red 3rd light strip I think your car looks great, very "corvetty" but in a good way.

oh, and with aftermarket suspension and sticky tires, you can easily get right about 1 g lateral, past 1.5 is just about impossible without downforce.

I was thinking the same thing... all that money spent on a widebody and he couldn't afford a $140 3rd brake light.

Completely friggin clueless!!
You have completely missed the point, and I am sorry for you.

Jack Atkinson does not open a catalog, or go to the store and buy this stuff for his car. His creations are not rolling JC Whitney catalogs.

Jack designs, and creates these cars in his vision with his own hands from raw materials. I am quite sure that if Jack's vision included a $140.00 third brake light it would be on the car.

Open your mind! What have you ever created that you can call your own?
Everyone has an opinion and your is welcome, but leave the cheap shots at home.

i am sure if jack was thinking right, he would have put a new third brake light on the car. he could have even painted it black himself.
