More guages.

Ok, my oil pressure gauge (stock) is a POS. I am going to add an aftermarket gauge, but I dont know where. This is what I have now.

I am thinking the best place would be pillar. Opinions? Bitches? comments? Questions? Concerns? Complaints?

That would be the cleanest place to add another guage.

Yeah I am thinkinhg about just putting 3 up there. Maybe 2 egts, and a boost. then I can put the oil press. Water temp and AF (once I get my wideband) in the middle. I dont want to be all ricey, but I do like monitoring everything. I have 5% tint though, blocks out pretty much everything.

I prefer the pillar for your major gauges, as you don't have to look down while driving if you feel something is going on.

fuel/oil pressure + boost = the pillar

you can also place them around the cluster. Places like on the pod, or you could get a frog eye cover for over your cluster. You can also get the stillen guage holder that goes over your center vents. Look into that as well.

Sweet, and I got the wife to sign off on it too. Always good to have her blessing before I lay waste to our account, lol. Thanks guys!

Oh yeah ( I forgot to ask this, its 6 in the morn here) Anyhow. All the A pillar pods are black ABS plastic. I have a Tan interior. Not a huge fan of clashing like that. Now, what do I do to make it match? I dont know how good I am at covering items with material yet and that doemsnt seem like fun. Anyone know of a spray paint thaent matches?? (Not a great selection of paints here in Germany. They love black, silver and white)

Automotive paint suppliers can match colors pretty good. I dunno about germany, but the local mom-n-pop-shop guy that I use does a great job of matching colors. Then you'd have to find someone to spray it for you if you don't have the equipment.

It's 3:49 a.m. here.

What are you doing up so early?? The price for paint (auto) is rediculous here. I dont know, maybe I will have to clash for now. (Only 8 months left here)

If you can cover it vinyl, it'd look great IMO. IT would take a lot of stretching and molding and glueing, etc. It just seems that a lot of those spray paints eventually flake off and look crappy.

I am going to try the vinyl thing. Should work. I have a pretty decent heat gun and will do it in my Garage (read: Spare Bedroom) so it will be warm to begin with.

Eric- Most places wont ship liquids period over here, esp under pressure ones
