Need car parts for my Z32

Anyone know where I can get used parts for my Z32? New parts are too expensive... The body shop said they come up to around $2k.

So you dont recomend getting a used headlamp or nosepanel? Or even the bumper bar? What about the bumper cover?

I mean its all body parts... and paying 700 bucks for a bumper cover or 200+ for a headlamp is too much...

Thanks for fixing the pics b300z. And I could ship that to you when I find a replacement, unless I find someone that can fix it for me instead of a replacement. But yeah, I got no problems with handing it out.

And snow, to let you know what happened, it's a mixture between too much rain, poor visibility, a very curvy backroad with space for car and a half, some ******* driving like a maniac towards me and a light post on my right side.

That should give you more or less an idea. But I can go into details if you wish.

-edit-

Oh yeah, thanks for your replies guys.

And b300z, yeah the body shop says parts come to around $2.1k, they only charge around 500 for labor. Oh and that doesn't include paint.

$500 in labor doesnt seem very realistic imo. have you gotten any other estimates?

Only that one. I'm trying to find other ones in the area that might give me some different price ranges, but basically most of the new OEM parts on the net (except eBay) do come to a little less of the prices they gave me. But with shipping and handling and taxes it might add up a little bit to make them around the same price they say.

I'm also looking around for parts in junkyards over here... I gotta go to a Z shop that is near my house to see if they have any junked Z's I can buy parts of...

I'd say that this would be a prime opportunity to get an aftermarket front bumper. 99 jspec or other of your choosing.
courtesyparts.com has a good deal on the jspec and all the front bumper pieces you might need.
good luck on your parts search

I actually sent a few emails to some people in the classifieds section of tt.net, this is the best reply I've recieved so far:

"head lamps are 75.00 a piece .. it looks new and is so clear
nose panel is 35.00
bumper bar is 65.00
front bumper is 100.00 shipping is 109.00 in us just for the bumper
but if you get all that other stuff ill just take it out of the other money cuz its rediculous shipping price cause its so big... ill even throw the receipt in"

Is the radiator support a part that can be taken out? Or is that hammered or welded back into shape by the body shop?

Do you guys see if I need any other parts? I have a set of signal lights and fog lights sitting at home... and the radiator doesn't seem to have suffered any damages.

You can try hammering out the radiator support, but since it holds the headlights, nose panel, fascia and hood latch, it'll be pretty hard to get it all back straight and lined up.

The radiator support is a welded in structural body part. The best way to fix it is to find a new or used straight one, cut out the bent areas of the old one, and weld in the appropriate section from the donor part.

Coincidentally, I'll be helping a fellow Z owner do the exact same thing once he gathers up all of his new parts

thats why i dont think $500 is a logical price, but maybe installing a different radiator support wasnt in the price.

make sure you check your intake pipes, and any other hardlines, hoses under there. i believe the horn is behind there somewhere. while youve got the bumper off, you can get rid of the extra intake circulation pipes.
