Off to the tint shop

Well, I'm taking my car into the tint shop Saturday. It's hard to believe that the previous owner dove this BLACK car in the hot Atlanta weather for 15 years without tinted windows. This car is freakin' hot after sitting in the parking lot/driveway all day. Fortunately, the air is ice cold and cools the interior pretty quickly.

I'm not sure of the percentage ratings anymore... I'm over 30 and out of the loop :-)

I told the guy at the tint shop that I wanted the darkest possible that the law permits. I seriously don't want to get stopped by the law over freakin' dark windows. I don't know if that's 80% or whatever here in GA but I am trusting that it'll be okay. Can't see out of the car rearward anyway (I'm tall, blind spots are big) so I'm not real stressed about that. I ride a motorcycle and am used to wrenching my neck around to check my 6.

yeah on my Z32 i had everything but teh windshield tinted pretty friggin dark, wtih the windows up and at night you couldnt really see to well out of teh windows or rear hatch through the rear view mirror. i wanted to add a lite shadding to teh windshield but i was worried i would get into even more trouble than i was already in and that id get visiual issues.

Tint

Tint is one of the easiest way to make your car look "new" and shinny again. Just remember although Tint % is set state wide by the dept. of motor vehicles or its equivalent the kicker is your city might have an entirely different policy on it. Check with your local 5-oh on the maximum % allowed by law. Just don't dial 911 to do so,as they don't think its as much as an emergency as you might.

LOL, you crack me up. The place I am going has been operating for something like 15 years and I have to believe they will conform with local law... nonetheless I will check :-)
