Why pay so much for the Stillen unit when the Courtesy Nissan shifter is like half the price?

What color boot do you want?

get a courtesy nissan factory boot, like twenty bucks. Why not get the red stitched boots and shifter? Very nice, IMO.

I'm not sure a new OEM boot is going to fix the sliding down problem. I have an Nismo shift **** and it does the same thing but only about a 1/2 in or so. If you can rig soething for the boot to rest on so it doesn't slide all the way to the bottom that's your best bet I believe. And 2nd on the courtesy nissan short throw. however, a short throw isn't very beneficial IMO.

If when you take the shifter apart and remove the shift boot, you should notice that the boot is held in place by a plastic ring that keeps it from sliding down and moving.

That ring however was big enough to fit around the bottom of an OEM shift **** and a lot of aftermarket shift ***** have smaller bottoms. I wonder if you could put a smaller ring in there. Maybe try that.

well i figure i say something about this. i had the same problem, and i solved it with electrical tape. u might need somebody to assist you with this one. i held my booth on my shifter where i wanted it, then i taped underneath the booth on the shifter so i created thicker shifter so the booth wouldn't slide off. this worked fine for me but if your booth is too lose on the top this might not be a solution. anyway good luck
