I can try to explain all the methods for cleaning suede, but the simplest one would be to do a search "How to clean suede" it will tell you everything you ever thought you wanted to know about cleaning suede.

OK Badboy,
I don't know what kind of stains you are talking about. But, what I've used that has worked is brushing with a suede brush that you can buy in a shoemaker shop. If you can't find one you can use a brass (because they are soft) wire brush the type used to clean tires is ok. Brush in one direction and don't apply a lot of pressure. If that does not work use a damp lint free cloth. Dampen the area lightly and brush. If you have access to a steamer you can buy a portable self contained steamer pretty cheap at Walmart. Steam the area and brush. Always brush in one direction. The only stains I ever got on the suede are the typical dirt stains from somesones shoes hitting the suede. The above has always worked. My suede is dark grey on a 93 convertible. The lighter suede I would guess would be more difficult to clean. The important thing is don't brush hard. Whatever you try to it in moderation and gently. Good Luck.

Badboy:
You can use those micro fiber towels. They sell those at most auto parts stores or any store with an automotive dept. If you think the stains are grease type stains you can also try spraying Brake Parts Cleaner on a towel and dab it on the stain (don't spray the Brake Parts Cleaner directly onto the suede) don't rub it because that might spread it. Good Luck.
