Best Springs for a Z

I was wondering what is the recommended springs for the Z? There are different types out right now, but I can't decided which is good for me. I want good quality springs that gives my car a agressive look and without costing me a fortune... So far the EIBACH Pro-kit springs seem okay, but I'm not really sure if the .8'' drop will look agressive enough.... Can I get your opinions...? thanks....

realistically, the Z is low enough.
You lower it much more than an inch you're going to run into alignment problems for which you'll end up spending alot more money to correct.
Most of the springs out there for Z's are good. The Eibach just so happen to be one of the more popular brands.
For more brands and retailers, check out my link page please.

Not to mention dragging your body parts on the ground. I keep tossing around the idea of making a set-up to compress/hold my springs approx 3/4" lower, but that's just one more thing I don't have time for.

I have the Eibach Pro springs and I would not go any lower than that.

yeah...thanks for all your comments... I tend to scrape sometimes too and I have stock springs... Just wanted it to be a little lower for a greater look... So I'm most likely going with the Eibachs... Anyone knows where I can get them for a cheap price...?

You can also try Stillen. Ask to talk to Kenny in sportscar parts. Tell him Jody Bartley referred you. He usually gives me pretty good deals. Some people haven't had much luck with Stillen, but I've done OK.

I use to scape when I had my factory wheels. And i know i do not scrape near as much with the new 18" wheels. Will the eibach springs still work with the 18" wheels, or sould i look at a different set up.

Hey 91, how much lower is ur front bumper now? I see that u have the stillen piece plus the lowering springs. I figured i would just do the .8 drop with a body kit for my car

You can still use the Eibach with the 18's. You start to run into trouble when you go up to 19's.

The Stillen nose doesn't really make it any lower. The nose is about the same height as OEM, but since it sticks out further it makes it harder to get into driveways.
