TEIN springs?

TEIN springs?
Do any of you guys know anything about te TEIN springs? I'm trying to make a christmas list and my suspension needs some tweeks.... thinking about buying the KYB struts with TEIN springs. Just tell me what you guys think. Here is a link to the springs..... http://www.z1motorsports.com/product...oducts_id=1236
Thanks

From what I've seen, Tein makes some high end stuff. $$$$ wise. So quality wise they're prolly o.k. I would look around at some lowered z's tho. A 1.5" drop is quite a bit, imho. There's a good chance you'll be scraping alot of paint off here and there. I think the eibachs and the .8" drop are more appropriate.
Don't forget all of the other parts you'll need if you lower it.......

I just realized that you have eibachs already. If you feel like you need stiffer suspension, add the kybs and maybe some polyurethane bushings. If you still want stiffer, start working on strut tower bars and all the other suspension stuff available.

Yeah I have the Eibach's. The guy I bought the car from put them on there. But my rear struts need to be replaced soon and i was looking around and found those tein springs and loved the stance of the car in the pic. But i got to thinking today that if i did lower the car that much I would have to get something to adjust the camber. So I may just get the struts. But what else would I have to get if I lowered it? Just the camber adjustment stuff? and I don't want my wheels to rub.

yeah the adjustable upper arms.....I just did some research and found some of those.....little pricey! My suspension's camber is off by like 0.01 degree on the front and im guessing some of those would fix that. Thanks guys. I think im just going to go with the KYB AGX struts for now then look in to maybe some springs and I deffanlty want some of those upper arms but I just can't afford them right now.

Honestly, just save for coil-covers. I have KYB AGX adjustable shocks, with eibach springs, and I wish I would of just saved for coil-covers. I think i spent like $700 or $750 on my shocks and springs, and i wish i would of just saved for coil-overs.
But...... since you already have the eibachs, i'd say yes, it's a GOOD setup... I mean dont get me wrong, this setup KICKS ***, just not as good as coil-overs. I got my shocks on ebay from an "ebay store" for like 50 less than everywhere else. So yah go with it. And if you have eibach springs, you need to do some camber stuff, it will mess your front tires up bad. Why don't you just get the camber correction kit from 300 degree? I have it, it's great, no camber problems from me. and it's only 80 bucks, and it's made specificaly for the eibach kit...
http://czp.us sells it I think....
as far as getting better springs, the eibachs are just as good as any of the other ones out there. The only BETTER, actually better, not equal spring i've seen are the stock springs from the 88 shiro, which of course wouldn't work for you...

I plan on making my own 300 degree style front camber kit and my own rear adjustables. My problem is that it takes me 6 months from the time I decide what I'm going to do until I actually get started on it.

Plan on needing adjustable upper arms. The fronts are not adjustable and the rears have a very minor adjustment; which likely won't be enough to make up the difference when you drop it an inch.
