Tension Rod question

Hi all, I bought my TT about 3 months ago and have been experiencing a steering wheel vibration at speeds around 55-65mph. Also it has a slight pull to the right. I went and got a four wheel alignment after I got the car which has helped somewhat but the vibration and pull are still there. The driver's side tire is worn pretty bad on the inside and looks likes it sets a little closer to the front bumper than the one on the passenger side(caster?). Both front tires are the same size. I checked carfax before I bought and no accident showed up (maybe a run in with a curb though?)Also as I was changing my power steering hose the other day I noticed that my tension rod bushings were shot and had huge cracks. I recently bought a set of Eibach springs, new shocks and a 300 degree camber kit, which havn't been installed yet. Is it time to invest in some adj. tension rods or just get new bushings? By the way the car has 115,000 mi. Thanks in advance guys.

That'd be a good idea. Check out www.splparts.com. They sell some of the best stuff I've seen. $153 for the adjustable t-rods. I'll be installing my SPL tension rods and adjustable upper control arms this weekend. I'll post some pictures of the install next week. Your vibration could be cause by your tires also. You said they're worn pretty bad. If they're worn to the point of where they're no longer perfectly round, then you'll have a vibration no matter what you do until you change the tires.

Ok Ill probably go ahead and order the adj. tension rods then. I am going to get aftermarket wheels also that's why I have been holding off on tires. I havn't decided on what to get yet though. Well, thanks alot man. Glad to become part of the forum.

The first shop was not wrong telling you it could not be aligned. Only adjustment up front on the Z32 in stock trim is toe. Though blown T-Rod bushings will have an effect on the caster, and should be replaced, for the cost of labor and parts, it is probably more cost effective to go with adjustable parts in the long run .
