what springs do you guys have on your z's? im looking into buying some soon...just need to know what kind and how low did you guys drop yours? and pics would be a great thing!!!

Have Intrax Springs. They are 1 inch Drop.

 

i did this for a couple reasons. 1. i had the extra money and if i didn't spend it on car parts id blow it at the casinos 2. i didn't like how much all the springs seemed to lower the ride height, seems you are stuck with whatever you decide and if you don't like it well, i guess you can always buy different springs cuase changing springs is a really fun job.. 3. three out of four shocks/stuts were bad so why not kill two birds with one stone.

now, i admit, once you get the ride height you desire you will probably leave it there for the rest of your ownership. if you use your car at the track and as a daily driver you might change it more often, ive noticed i can change the overall handling characteristics of my car with a 1/2 change in the front ride height. ( i leave it higher during road driving cuase i also have a much softer ride dialed in and i don't want the tires rubbing on the fender.) but at the track i drop the front 1/2 inch and stiffen the ride up considerably. Takes about 20min to do.

either way, i hear ebach springs are pretty good :
