Wheel opinion

My yearly inspection is coming up and my tires are not going to pass inspection. I decided to just get new rims and tires all together. I did some shopping around and I found the best deal at wheelmax.com. I was just wondering what some of you thought of these wheels. http://www.sportmaxwheel.com/pr_wh_962.shtml With kumho tires they cost little over 1300 bux with free mounting and shipping.

I couldn't find a pic of some on a 300zx but here thay are on a 240sx

i say good job for buying a wheel that looks awesome and has a huge staggered fit with a nice deep lip for a fraction of what others cost. that and me and my buddy just got em for our 240s haha well i got one of the other styles but still sport max. either way thats one of few wheels that you can get in a staggered fit for that price, but you might get ripped by some for buying a cheap wheel like that. thats why i have gramlights for shows and events. do you see the dings on the side of that 240, that iritates me

Thats what im worried about. I can't find any specs on how much they weigh. the site says on their home page...."The Pursuit of Lightweight Wheels" so im guessing they are "lightweight". I guess I'll find out when they end up on my door step. Also the tires I got are wider than the ones on the rims in that pic. And yes the dings drive my crazy....thats why I park as far away from anybody as I can in my Z.

im not sure what the stock wheels weigh but the exact weight for the sportmax wheels are 28 front and 28.8 rear for the size he got. for a price like that your not gonna get a 14lb rim, and 56lbs over all isnt that big of a deal unless your truely making a "race car". those wheels give you the look you want at an affordable price, nice offset for some serious width. a wheel like this one here at 14lbs is gonna cost easily into the 2000 range without tires. im not arguing in anyway just explaining why i feel that they are a decent wheel

i cant seem to find it now i just found it last night, cause i second guessed myself last night when i gave you the first weight because i thought that might be for the 17s so i searched and it was on the first or second search page. as soon as i come across it ill post it.
