17's on the front 18's on the back question
Hi guys first post here. I have a 1990 300ZX and came across a good deal for some wheels and wanted to hear some suggestions. How will this effect the ride? I told him I would give him $500 and he agreed. Here is the post with pictures:
Konig Crosshairs Wheels with Falken ZIEX ze512 Tires. These are as close to new as you can get without actually being new. They came off our Honda s2000. The fronts are 215/45ZR17 87W M+S, and the rears are 235/40ZR18 95W M+S. The tires are awesome. They have all-season performance with a uni-directional tread design and large circumferential grooves for superior wet weather handling. This tire offers a smooth, quiet and comfortable ride along with an improved rim protection ridge to protect your custom rims. Performance never looked so good. They cost over $1500 new.
$725 OBO.

The wheel bolt pattern is 5X114.3 Bolt 12mmX1.5 Lug nut

I'd look elsewhere, to be honest...
215 width front is narrower than both stock NA and TT fronts, 235 width rear is narrower than a stock TT's rear tires. Performance should come first, aesthetics second... if you're going to spend money on wheels and tires, you should at least be getting a set that will improve how your car handles (i.e. wider than stock). You would suffer from understeer from the narrow front tires (the front end would push through turns), and you could do far better on traction during acceleration than 235s will give you.
I suspect you're NA (no TT owner leaves out the fact that their car is TT), so you should be looking for wider than 225 width tires on all four corners.
