'90 2+2 having major problems. need guidance!!

okay so i recently had my injectors replaced with venom 270cc injectors due to low compression and low fuel delivery or so i thought due to it idling rough at all times especially when warm and extreme loss of power. But ive never worked on a Z before this and the vg's are so much different from what im used to. Long story short i had them replaced and it ran well for about a week but still not at its potential. Now, my z will crank right up but it starts to smoke as it warms up, there's a very noticeable ticking like a valve tick just slightly louder though. Has anybody dealt with this problem that has figured out what exactly it is? I've heard alot of different things and have replaced most of them like the upper plentum, all gaskets, and most things in which deal with the injectors besides fuel rails. i mean i thought it was popped o-rings on the injectors but now im completely clueless.

if anybody can help it'd be much appreciated

what color is the smoke, and what does it smell like? the rocking noise coild be injector leaking. double check those o rings, and if you have to, get oem rings and put those if you haven't already
