90 300zx NA as daily driver
i'm looking into getting a 90 300zx NA with 87k miles. completely stock. doesn't seem to have any issues at all whatsoever. i'd just like to know what common problems there are and what you opinions there are of having it as a daily driver. i do drive a **** ton. about 2-3k miles a month. the price i talked him down to is 5700. would this be a good deal?

i nice tt with 150k miles from what iv found. this 90 is exactly what i want.. (besides tt). light tan leather interior. 5 speed. black car.(i would like the white pearl more though). not owned by an idiot.. i do like the things that they changed in the later models but nothing that was changed is necessary. i like the steering wheel more without the airbag. but i wish the seat belts weren't on the doors.

hows the body on that car, and what kind of interior? and if it has a new engine at 50k miles then it couldn't have been taken care of too well. i mean kbb on the car i was looking at is like 5k private party and 6.2k dealer. (these were just estimates since kbb only goes back till 91.

if you don't mind shipping my sister is selling her 90 auto TT, needs love, but it's been her daily for about two or so years now without any serious problems. Rebuilt turbo's that haven't seen anything above stock boost, AMZ downpipes, EGR, AIV, PRVR and coolant bypass delete, big aluminum radiator, taurus fan, 135k miles..etc She's asking $4500 OBO, pics upon request.

if theres no modifications done to the car that means (most likely) that it has not been abused. the problems that always (that i've seen) happen to these cars is timing belt at 100k and fuel injectors. also alot of times nissan auto trans suck but there manuals are bullet proof. it really all depends on the previous owner and how well they took care of the car.

Almost every auto trans failure I have seen from normal or even moderate abuse comes from the fluid overheating, people doing neutral drops, the TQ failing or people not doing routine tranny fluid changes.
