93 N/A t-top, but OLD style injectors-???
Hello,
I have been working on my 93 N/A since I bought it in March 2014. I have done the following: replaced the power steering pump, new style PTU and connector (soldered to my harness) and moved by the intake, new plugs, new coil packs, 1 piece driveshaft, and various bushings and switches.
When I replaced the PTU, I used the "new style PTU" harness to work with my harness, but my harness was shot. So I bought replacement connector. So when we finished and I drove the car, everything was great til I turned it off. Went to restart, and the car was flooded. Checked the injectors, a few were bad. Bought "new" style injectors and went to put them on last night. Pulled the plenum-what a mess. Under the intake there was oil everywhere, vac hoses cracked or just hanging, both PVC valves clogged, inside the intake runners it's BLACK. But then pulled an injector, and it's the OLD style? I'm guessing this means at some point this motor was installed from an older z? I have ordered the adaptor kit from Z1 to put the new injectors into the old fuel rail. Any way to tell where this motor came from, and anyone have experience with the adaptor kit?

Thanks for the post. A few photos would be a big help here, including under the hood. Can post? Just click on the little paper clip to the right of the smiley face above the text box. Locate your photos and click upload, submit. Thanks.

Here are some pics
First shows the old injector on the left, new one on the right-I should have the right one according to what I have read.
The rest show the top of the engine, how dirty the intake is-the CAS, and the wiring harness. I plan on cleaning the intake and the top of the lower intake the best I can before I put it together.
