Accessory Circuit
For some reason the Z has no power to the accessory (Stereo, Cigarette Lighter, etc) even when the ignition is on. Does anyone have any advice for someone who has never worked with an ignition before. I managed to get the steering wheel column off on my own but I was pretty much lost from there. Does anyone have a pinout-ish diagram for the ignition, I couldn't find one in the FSM. Has this been a problem for anyone else? One thing I noticed was that there were some wires soldered onto the ignition (directly opposite where the key would go). The little board they were soldered to seemed look (I would wiggle it rotationally). As always I appreciate the help, and I apologize in advance for being stupid about things.

Why would you take stuff apart before checking fuses? The fuse panel is under the dash down by the pedals (where the driver's dead pedal is). Check the fuses, then the fusible links, then get back to us.
And in the future, always start with the simple solutions and work your way to the hard ones. You just waste time trying to find electrical problems when the problem could've been a penny that dropped into the lighter socket and shorted the fuse.

To be honest with you I've already checked the fuses in the kick panel. I spaced about the little box by the battery (given that there are at least three fuseboxes in the car), but thanks for the advice

if only the stereo, cigarette lighter don't work then it's a fuse.
if nothing in the interior works, gauges, lights(only high beams) stereo, lighter etc. then it's the first fusible link next to the battery. It's a wire fusible link and if it goes, it won't be noticeable by just visually glancing at it. you'll need to remove it and test it with a mutlimeter.

did mine, was blackened a little bit. Idiots that owned the car before us could've replaced a couple fuses and added a lot more functionality to the car. The only real wiring issue was that one wire.
