for no apparant reason, the cars antenna seems to have started having problem going up and down. just 2 days ago. i cxan hear the motor runnin and the thing gettin stuck somehow. andyone have this problem?

 

I have a brand new antenna shaft if you want it, mine was broken, but I never got a chance to put it on. I bought it for $30...i'll give it to you for $20. let me know...it's still in the box. It's an easy fix...very common to have the antennas go out. if you still hear the motor, you're in good shape and don't need a whole new motor.

 

if i play with the antenna enough when i start or turn off the car it will start to work on its own, but then when its tinme for it to move again, its stuck.

 

The antenna is stripped out. I'm too cheap to spend the $20 on a new one so I just put it at a height that works and then unplugged the motor .... for now.

 

Don't take this the wrong way, but damn that is cheap.
