Im getting a Z32TT with an auto tranny... how much horsepower can it handle? what can i do to beef it up? what swaps are available? I know a G35 auto tranny handles quite a lot of horsepower... Is this swap possible?

 

From what I understand most TT auto's kill a trans from no maintenance, overheating and kiling torque converters.

 

Solutions? Im sure this question has been discussed but i sure can't find it!

 

External trans cooler, regular fluid changes and try not to abuse it. (prolonged burnouts, neutral drops, putting it in drive while still moving backwards..etc) For parts, level 10 makes everything you will ever need for the TT auto trans.

Like I said though, the weak link are the torque convertors, Almost every problem I have seen related to the auto trans in a z32 is usually from neglect or abuse. Also keep in mine the TT auto trans is used in Q45's, pathfinders and a few other vehicles.
