Boost Leak?

Ok here is the low down. I bought a 90 300zxTT in Charlotte, NC about a month ago. While I was driving it home the radiator exploded. As soon as this happened I immediately lost boost. The car runs smooth and idles great. But the turbos will not spool up. I have since bought a Greddy ProSpec II boost controller and installed. In the mornings when the car is cold, I get about 1lb of boost. After it warms the boost reading will not go higher than -0.02. I can swear that I hear the turbos trying to spool up. Or at least I am hearing alittle whistle from them. But no Boost. Could it be a leak in the intercoolers? I have tried running the boost feed from one side at a time. Wondering if maybe one side would be enough to opened the actuators. But nothing. Any ideas??

Get that thing on a pressure tester and find the leaks. If they're stock turbos, chances are that you can't hear them. Usually, you can't really hear the stockers' "whistle"

2nd on the pressure tester.

Looking at 91's mod page got me to thinking.
The stock intercoolers have plastic tops. You guys think that something as violent as a coolant hose bursting, or radiator exploding would have an effect on the top of the intercoolers?
I've seen the Nissan and Honda radiators with plastic ends go bad with leaks from minor traumas. Could this happen to the intercoolers?

I think it's very likely that you busted one of your IC's. Like Emo said, pressure test it.

Well, finally got around to pressure testing both IC's. And both tested good. I pumped them to 15 psi with no leaks!

I was wondering if I unplug the two boost feed lines from the IC's and rev the engine at a stand still. Should I have pressure on these lines? Becasue I have nothing!! If anything, a very small amount of vacuum. But not much at all. Any ideas here>?? Thanks!!

Unfortunately, the only other thing I can think of that you cooked you turbos when it ran out of coolant. You have to inspect the turbos. There's really nothing else I can think of.
