I think that part of the reason the Z32 is less known than let's say, a Supra or an RX-7 is simply because of the Z33. We saw plenty of them on 2F2F, just like Supras, and all of the other well known cars. We all know that the 300ZX outperforms the 350Z, but you must think about the fact that Nissan gains a profit by promoting the 350Z in movies like that. Toyota, on the other hand, has not yet introduced a successor to the Supra. Hell, we also know that Mitsubishi's 3000GT is technically quicker than the Evo (up until this year), but you didn't see any of those in a movie like that, either. It's simple marketing. Anyways, I also don't like the '96TT spoiler, but that's easy to replace.

What?! The Evo VIII is almost a full second faster in the quarter mile! It does low to mid 13's as compared to the 4000lb tranny bomb that does it in about 14 seconds.

I'm too lazy to find more, but the 3000GT has always been a damn joke when it comes to performance.

The evo is an ugly car. I'll take a vr4 any day over that piece.

Lol, I really do wish I could change my username on this site. I'm partial to Zs now, even though I still like the VR4's. Just, not nearly as much. There's no way to change it, right? Anyways, this '96 up in CT is what I'm aiming for right now - I just gotta find the time to go up there and see it. Oh, and yeah, the Evo never did suit my fancy - it's... A sedan. And an ugly one. I'd much rather put money into a VR4 and just make it faster than do it to an Evo.

only VR4 i would ever get is a galant.... 4G63 AWD.... but if i went that way i might as well get a 1G talon. and zlover is totally right, they weigh as much as a pick up truck and i can remember if its the tranny or transfer case, i think the tranny, that is the hugest hunk of **** ever.... and evo's are nice, but like the old school evo's more that never came to america, i could get one nice RHD evo like 5 or soemthing, but its a roller chassis, ams is selling it.

the Mustang the new one, cocky little bastard thought He thought he could hang with a GTR and a little S13 that could. fawk him! ha ha My HP/lb ration is allot better than His. the GTR well that thing is just too much, he puts me to shame at 8psi (me boosting 12) when he does 12, it;s god like.

... for the record, I like the Evo VIII. When I'm in the market for a sedan, that's going to be one of the ones I look at very seriously. It's definately no sleek supercar, but it's pretty respectable for what it can do.
