Differential?

Hey,

We're thinking the differential may have gone out on Shelby's car. I know I haven't been on in a while but I was wondering if anyone knew of anyone selling one around the Pacific Northwest, or if you guys had any tips or tricks for installation/removal.

Ezra

P.s. Who do I pay for the premium subscription I said I would buy last time you all helped us out.

Ez

Awww snow. I know you've missed me. I sent you a myspace message the other day, no response. I know its gone. I should have been more clear. I can hear it skipping teeth and clunking.

On a more technical note; can you use any 90 - 96 diff with the 90ZX? Cause we don't have ABS and a lot of the used diffs do.

New car snw?

no ABS? must be a really early '90. i would think the ABS diff would work though, you juut dont hook sensors to it. i have a diff out of my '95 sitting on my deck. it has a bad howl, but it works. i have not opened it up yet to see whats wrong. i picked up a used one for $250 at Feltons Auto in Snohomish, so you might want to give them a call.

Thanks guys, I know its way delayed but upon getting all the way up under the car we discovered it was the carrier bearing. onepiece drive shaft fixed that. Seems to have a lot of vibration now above 65-75 mph, but I guess thats normal. Just serves to remind me of all the things I need to zip-tie or screw down.

the vibration is caused by your driveshaft being out of balance, you need to adjust your driveshaft so that its not out of balance.

driveshaft is brand-new from Z1, I've heard very good things about them. It looked fine before we put it in.
