yeha i wondered y there werent any drfit Z's either for a long time, i came to this conclusion, 1) weight isnt distributed for drifting likings 2) the na isnt powerful enough and the TT has HICAS 3) mabye the steering cuase i know the replace the s2000's steering cause it isnt sharp enough to drift well. i dont know, but i finally found this video, and it isnt very impressive and ive never seen this car anywhere else.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...114307&q=300zx

seems ot want to like drive normaly to much instead of drift. anyone have a take on this topic?

the z32 was made to corner properly and resist drift. drifting is silly. its kinda entertaining to watch for a few minutes, then it gets old. i think it's a good thing that the z32 isnt a good drift car.

Yes i've seen Z's drift. The NA IS DEFINATLY powerful enough, especially with a few simple bolt ons. Zdriver did articles and videos on drifting, he drifted his NA 2 + 2 and they did a TT... I have videos of japanese Z32's drifting..... Weight is a factor they're slightly heavy..

yes they are not really set up to drift but like napolean said an na is deff. enough power, and trust me on that ... need i say more. entropy is deff. right about both things he mentioned, its fun to do but boring to watch. if you want to drift get a 240sx do a few upgrades on the stock motor get lsd and your good, its not the best power wise but its good for someone just starting out and cheap so who cares if you crash. you dont want to be crashing a 300zx. one more thing id lke to add, this is just from my own personal experience but in my opinion a 300 just doesnt connect the way it should when trying to get it back. on my 240 as soon as you turn the wheel back that sucker connects like nothing, i feel like its idiot proof it just wont let you go. so i guess if youd want to drift a 300 it would take alot more finess and concentration. thats all opinion im not an expert that icon is the **** icon haha

yeah i could see that, i havent really drifted too many heavy cars. i run my 240 at 238whp for drifting and i think thats plenty for that car, ive tried it on higher boost but its just not as comfortable. im also not the most experienced either, i only have two and a short of a third season under my belt.

I just remembered there is one other video that has one short scene of a black Z32 doing an awesome drift in it.
