As far as I know, they idle fine. I've seen a few in person, and a lot on the internet, and most people do fine up to about 270hp which is a lot for a fwd car to handle without traction issues.

i don't think a paxton type S-charger

would fit where the A/C is. Wouldn't it be too long and too low to be squeezed in? Also i'm not sure you have enough room to run intake/output to and from it. Still all in all, a waste to heavily modify a NA. Put some happy gas on it till the engine blows then put a TT or small block in it if you are looking for lots of power.

well i can get a supercharger for free since one of my dads buddys has a junk yard and has one that i could have i just have to pull it.
the pullys and brackets i could make for free through my schools engineering program.
i would have to buy the pluming components and coolers and misc. stuff though

i wish he would just have an ac compressor for my car

can we lock this thread and make it like a sticky titled "electric super charger ideas here, dont do it!" or something so this never comes up ever again since stickies are always at the top of the sub-forums for noobs to find (no insults intended for any believers/thread starter but really this comes up 4 times a year)

Sticky, great idea,

so it will be something else everyone will say, " why don't you search for that".

a sticky would only make it a little less likely that someone will need to search for it. not making it a sticky surely wouldn't help
