Emo's return message

Hey guys, decided that I missed this place. I've been around supraforums quite a bit, mostly reading, you know playing the good noob role and getting to know my car better. Anyway, this is my "hello again" thread.

Hey Emo, welcome back. 79 days and counting, still haven't made the big announcement.
Did I tell you about Janet bringing in the plants and later finding a snake skin in the laundry?

You'd better stick around. Anyway Janet brought in the outside plants to keep them from freezing last week and she took off to her moms for the weekend, leaving a pile of laundry in front of the dryer. Sunday night when she got home and was separating the clothes, she comes screaming into the den saying something about a snake. When I went to look, all it was was a skin in the pile of laundry. Still haven't found the snake. Guess it rode in with the plants.
Just what we need, have one of the cats catch the snake and jump in bed with it. Every now and then one will catch a mouse and they always seem to want to play with it in the middle of the bed.

That's hilarious. :roflmao: It's always nice when you hear that crunch in the middle of the night of the cat biting into a mouse.

Rizz, I am itching for a Z! I've even thrown around the idea of an NA coupe or vert. The supra is fun, and it's getting to be pretty fast. After the project I'm on now, it may be faster (or at least faster feeling) than my old TT was. It's easy to work on and fun to modify, but I miss the Z. The Z just looks so good. The Supra, sad to say it, but it just blends in with most other cars on the road. I'm getting to know the car, but I just don't know it like I do Z's. I've been tempted adn every now and then I look for NAs.

Emo keeps mentioning that n/a vert, he's thinking I'll give mine up when my new toy gets here.
Z-wrecker you better buy that slicktop before you have kids, then hide it from the kids.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, absolutely not. We plan on keeping it too. I don't owe anything on anything and when the new one gets here it'll be almost paid for. Think I'm about $8-10k short right now, but hope to have all of it by the due date. I've had a few others ask if I would sell the vert and they get the same answer.
Janet is going to get her one of those "Ghetto Garages" and put it in the yard. I think she's decided on a 20' by 36' enclosed on the north end and both sides. I'll have to have some gravel hauled in.
They've still got my yard tore all to hell, after running that sewer line thru it. I think it'll fit without getting into where they've got the temp fence running.
You've not been out there since they cut thru with the sewer line, where Matts car is sitting they cleared out all the trees and stuff that was piled up.
If I knew for sure I would be staying there for a long time I'd build a permanent garage. As it is now you never know when someone will offer a price I can't refuse. The place on the corner next to Brad's house just closed for 2.7 million and it was only 5 acres.

We have no idea, been looking for some land a little further out. I've still got 37 acres there at the house, but it's to expensive to think aboiut building on. Would like to stay within 20 miles of the wash.

Yeah I need to make the ICA this year. I've not gone in 3 years. Depends on how Dad is doing, if we bring the MH or not. If not maybe we'll drive down in one of the cars. If Mom and Dad don't come we'll see if we can get Tim and Misty to come with us. Mentioned it Sat night. Janet still wants to go to New Orleans in March, so do Tim and Misty. Don't know if I can do 2 trips that close. She'll be off for spring break in March.
Emo that 95 vert I found back here was bought by a dealer real cheap and was listed at $13,995 on autotrader. To think I could've got it for $7,500 cash. There was a Cherry Red Pearl 5spd listed at Club Z a while back. Forget what year but sounded nice. Check www.clubz.org don't know if it sold or not. Kyle (GodZilla) may know about it. It'll be a year or two before I get back to CA again. Definately in 06 for my reunion in Fresno.

Yea, I was bummed that I missed you before! Stupid work. I was trying to get like an hour off or something, but the boss just wasn't buying it. I guess I understand because it was one of our busier days all summer.
