Exhaust

one will be louder. Most people run 2.5-3" duals. You runnin a TT or NA. If TT you'd need atleast 3" so you'd wouldn't have issue's with restrictive exhaust. Really though stock is what 2.25" duals. I dont know all the variables about how much CFM of air the exhaust pushes and how much CFM so many inch wide pipe can flow but I'd imagine if you plan on much more power than stock that you'd be looking @ 3.5"-4" wide exhaust. Check how big exhaust MKIV Supra's run or Skylines. But that still might not be a great comparison every car is different.

if you want quiet exhaust, try HKS Turbo exhaust, here http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templa...187&SearchYN=N but not worth the price IMO. stainless steel come only on tips. not even on muffler. for the price and better performance is HKS Hipower. it's an ulgy exhaust. if you want larger pipe, get CF version but still ugly. i have it on my car (not CF) but soon to be changed to 3" SZ dual quad tip. this exhaust is nice and may be quieter than most 2.5" i like this exhaust than most expensive B&B oval quad tip.
single exhaust setup is not good for z32. if you want a little more flow and horsepower, look for an exhaust w/ x-pipe instead of h-pipe but it tend to get louder a bit. i'm editing this post b/c i don't know you have NA or TT. if you have a NA, forget the above things but you still can get HKS hipower.
