I have been reading forums for the past 3 day's and I haven't read anything on the movie the fast and the furious( If there is a post on it "sorry for reapeting it"). I just can't put it in my brain housing group that out of all the car's in the movie they didn't have a 300z. I mean come on all those little honda's and eclipse's( not that I have anything agains't these car's) and not one Z. In my opinion they should of had a z be if not the main car one of the main car's. If I am wrong feel free to correct me. Hopefully they get some sense and put a z in the movie. Well that's all I have to say for now. Take care.

 

i know that pissed me off too. i think it should have been one of the main cars too. all those civic hatchbacks and grocery getters. there should have been a Z instead of that maxima or that jetta, i mean come on a jetta?

 

I too was upset by that fact. One thing i did notice is that 3 of the 4 cars in the beginning, "Torredo's gang", have nissan vehicles, Skyline, 240sx, maxima, which is good to see but it still would have been cool to see a super modified ZTT.

 

They had originally planned to use a Z as the main car. You can see it in the CG parts of the big race scene. It's on the DVD somewhere. I think under "Effects" or something.

 

watch the credits through, one is in there. It all has to do with companies marketing stratagy. The automotive companies bid on who could have their cars in the movie, highest bidder = more video time. Why Toyota sponsered a Supra I will not know. It makes sense to do what Nissan did and sponser the vehicles they still produce.

No Zs that I know of. It has four s2000s, five acura NSXs, four examples of the orange Supra from FF1, six-rx7s from FF1, c5 Corvettes, BMW 3-series, a fleet of Opel speedsters, MR2s, Skylines, and some fords and Mitsus. Check out SCC November 2002 for more details.

I was wondering if there was nay sight that I could go on to write to the maker's of part two to let them know how there are a lot of people that believe that a z32 should be in the movie.If there is I think every body on this site should try and rech them to let them know also. Oh yea, rumor has it a 350Z is in it. Now that would be interesting. Oh and getting a Z32 in the movie, mabye as an extra as all the extras on the movie are privatly owned but don't expect any lead roles having one.

 

There was a 300zx in the movie...That chick drove it that was going out with van desiel...it was purple....

I believe it was a 240SX she was driving, and the dude in the yellow car in his gang had a Skyline I believe.

The yellow car was a R33 Skyline wetheter it was a GT-R or GTS-T you would have to look ar the rear deck lid or the front grill to tell unless they removed the badge. Didn't pay to much to the movie except the first 10 min and the last 15min

 

Yeah it was a gtr ... GTR's have big wide guards over the wheels and different head lights etc
