Front bumper installation...

Hello,

I can't seem to find a Haynes manual for the Z32! I couldn't believe it!! I thought they had one for every single car out there, but guess I was wrong. Does anyone know of a good step-by-step manual like the Haynes for the Z32?

If I had the manual, I wouldn't need to ask this question:
In order to take off the front bumper cover, I know I need to take off the nose piece, but would I need to take off the two headlight units and the fog lights as well?? I really hope not...

I'm kinda starting to wonder if anyone even looks at this "sticky" with all the links.

The very first link is to the online manual.

Congratulations on the Z32 there Copper. I don't remember if you even ever told us when you got it or when. Was it the yellow one?

Hi Rizz,

You still remember me? That's great! I've been so busy with work lately that I haven't had time to check this site anymore...at least not until spring break. And don't worry, I'll be sure to post pics of my new Z very very soon, so all of you can check her out! Later.

P.S. Great link to that manual...but I already have a hard copy of that same manual! Boy it's thick!! However, I did not find it very helpful at all, unlike the extremely useful step-by-step Haynes manuals. Do you know the answer off the top of your head whether the headlights need to come off?? I don't want to take them off and find out I didn't need to...and I've heard that it's a biiiiitch to align the headlights when reinstalling. Thanks!

P.P.S. I almost forgot to ask: Do you know where I can pick up the JDM front bumper...actually, it's just like the one that's shown on your avatar! I hate those aftermarket body kits, but these newer JDM bumpers don't look half bad! And maybe the side skirts as well. Thanks again!!

To remove the front bumper, no you don't need to remove the front headlamps.

Good price on JDM front fascia from www.z1motorsports.com or www.ultimatez.com

also refer to this thread if you want to order from Z1 Motorsports.

refer to this thread for the side skirts. Which incidently is a really recent thread.

Thanks Rizz! You've answered every one of my questions with ease. $600 for side skirts?? $660 for the fascia?! $800 for JDM spoiler!!? Golly geez!! Well, maybe when I win the lottery, but in the mean time I'll love both my Z's just the way they are! Peace.

Actually the front fascia could technically cost you a lot less. Especially considering that you live near Ultimate Z, you could just go pick it up.
Let's see 550 x 7% sales tax=588.5.
