Good car for the $$$, only 66,000 miles!

Hey guys,

I'm stalking a 93 n/a, automatic, 2+2 with only 66k original miles. I've carfax'd it and the mileage checks out, with 3 previous owners. No accidents or major servicing on the carfax either.
Only red flag is that the car was repainted last year and the front bumper was replaced. Current owner painted it to give it a new clean look (previous owners left it out and the paint was faded apparently), the bumper was chipped and cracked originally.
The owner is asking $7k, too much? too low? something up? what do you guys think?

i'm planning on having it checked out by a specialized mechanic next week.

Welcome to ZDriver!

I see two other red flags:
-Auto transmission
-2+2

The best way to find out if a price is a good price or not is do a comparative (a comp) of other cars like it that have sold. It is the samething people do for houses. Unfortunately there isn't a FMSL for cars but, we do have Ebay!! Log on Ebay and watch what these cars are going for (you can click "Watch Item"). Try and find the closes match to your car or the car you want to buy. This will give a good idea of what to ask for or what to offer.

Welcome to Zdriver, I hope you get a good deal!
